This enclosure is so large a camera fits inside without hitting the top.
Instructions need a lot of help!
The instructions are so dark that the pictures are black with.
Besides the instructions, I highly recommend this enclosure. Very big, quality materials used. camera fits inside without hitting the top.

I am writing this review for the Longer enclosure I bought for my B1 40-watt laser. I gave it 4* because I am finding the enclosure very useful and worthwhile, especially when I am cutting fairly think material such as 1/2" oak wood that creates a lot of smoke and odor. When I initially ordered this enclosure, I thought the sides were made of plastic sheets. In reality the enclosure is a sewn fabric material shell stretched over a tubular metal frame. In retrospect, this is a nice design as it is very light and quite sturdy.
Having said that I did not give it a 5* rating for several reasons. First of all, the assembly instructions are very cryptic. All the parts were in the kit, and they fit together very well. However, I had to spend quite a bit of time figuring out how the pieces of the frame are intended to fit together. The finished enclosure is nearly (but not quite) square and each span in the X and Y directions are made from two tubes that must be snapped together. It turns out they only fit together in the correct way, but it took me a while to figure that out. A little clearer labeling would make the assembly a lot quicker to figure out. Longer claims a 10-minute assembly, but I think that is very optimistic unless you have already put quite a few of these together; it probably took me an hour. The other thing I am puzzled about is that the enclosure has a fabric floor. This makes it hard to put the laser inside and remove for maintenance and such. I cut the bottom fabric about 2" in from the frame (on all four sides) so I could drop the enclosure over the laser and easily remove it. So far, this has worked very well. Longer also put the fan to remove fumes on the right side of the enclosure. I needed it to be on the rear. It was fairly easy to move the fan and then glue a small piece of the excess fabric from the floor over the hole Longer provided.
All in all, I am very happy with the enclosure and am finding it works well. I really like the zipper flap on the front; it allows great access the laser, and for loading material to be engraved or cut. The LED light included is a nice and useful addition plus the enclosure even has a built-in place directly over the laser to hold a camera (which Longer also sells).
